Wenn einige der besten Yo-Yo Spieler Europas sich in einer der buntesten Metropolen der Welt treffen, ist ein wunderbares Wochenende vorprogrammiert: Diesmal waren es Spieler aus Italien, Deutschland, der Schweiz und Österreich, die sich von 3.-5. Mai 2013 in Istanbul mit türkischen Spielern (und auch einer Spielerin) trafen, um in entspannter Atmosphäre Tricks auszutauschen und gemeinsam ein gute Zeit zu verbringen. Am Freitag und Samstag machten wir mit unseren Yo-Yos den europäischen Teil der Stadt unsicher. Am Sonntag gab es dann auf der asiatischen Seite ein Treffen direkt am Marmarameer. Und auch nach dem 11. European Yo-Yo Meeting (EYYM) steht wiedermal eines fest: Wer gern Yo-Yo spielt, andere Spieler besser kennen lernen und eine neue Stadt entdecken will, ist am EYYM immer goldrichtig. Dass in einer Millionenstadt wie Istanbul dann noch ein Spieler aus New York mit seiner Freundin völlig zufällig auf die Truppe stößt – tja sowas nennen wir Insider einfach “EYYM-Style”

When some of Europe’s best yo-yo players come together in one of the world’s most exciting cities, it can only turn out as a great weekend: this time players from Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria met May 3rd to 5th 2013 with the Turkish players in Istanbul to share tricks in relaxed atmosphere and have a good time together. Friday and Saturday we were roaming the European part of the city with our yo-yos. On Sunday we had a meeting on the Asian side, next to the Sea of Marmara. The 11th European Yo-Yo Meeting (EYYM) proved once more: if you like yo-yoing, want to meet other players and discover a new city: EYYM is perfect for you. And by the way: randomly meeting a player from New York who is on vacation with his girlfriend in a megacity like Istanbul – we just call “EYYM style”

Thanks a lot to Ege (Yoyo Zone), Eren, Gökten and all the others who made this year’s EYYM so fantastic!
